RAI Lawrenceville Designated Prostate Cancer MRI Center
Addition of New 3 Tesla MRI Helps Set New Standard in Prostate Imaging
Radiology Affiliates Imaging of Lawrenceville has been designated a Prostate Cancer MRI Center by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®).
The ACR Prostate Cancer MRI Center designation is a voluntary program that recognizes facilities that commit to practice safe, effective diagnostic care for individuals at the highest risk for prostate cancer. In order to receive this elite distinction, facilities must be accredited by the ACR in the body module, as well as undergo a rigorous assessment of its MRI imaging protocol and infrastructure.
“We are proud to be the first in Mercer County to receive the distinctive ACR Accreditation for Prostate MRI at our Lawrenceville location,” says Eric Bosworth, MD, medical director of outpatient imaging for Radiology Affiliates Imaging (RAI). The radiology practice has been a local leader in outpatient imaging for over 50 years, providing patients from Mercer and Bucks Counties with local access to the latest technology, such as 3T MRI, the gold standard in prostate imaging.
Eric Bosworth, MD, is medical director of outpatient imaging for RAI. He is board-certified in diagnostic radiology with special competence in nuclear medicine.
